Jesus said, “Let the little ones come unto Me, for their’s is the Kingdom of Heaven.” It is our mission here at Atlanta North to provide our Children with quality spiritual discipleship programs. Children are not only our future but our present. In conjunction with the World Church we offer Eager Beavers, Adventurers, Pathfinders, Sabbath School Classes and VBS.
The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teacher and evangelizer. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. In this way the church, home and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child. If you would like to register your child for the upcoming school year, you may contact our Adventurer leaders, Johnathan or Wendy Jenkins at email@example.com.
Pathfinder (grades 5-12) clubs are designed to “lead members into a growing, redemptive relationship with God, build its members into responsible, mature individuals, and involve its members in active, selfless service.” (North American Division Pathfinder Staff Manual) Currently, there are more than 2 million Pathfinders worldwide. Our club is sponsored by Seventh-day Adventist Church but any young person who promises to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law is welcome to join regardless of their church affiliation. Pathfindering seeks to provide opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, spirituality, teamwork, and community spirit. If you would like your child to be a part of the Atlanta North Nighthawks for the 2016-2017 School Year please contact Mauricio Marquez at AtlantaNorth.Pathfinders@gmail.com.
Every summer Atlanta North holds a Vacation Bible School for our church and community. Its a time where children get to experience the Bible first hand. If you would like more information about how to get involved or to register your child for our next VBS in 2017 you may contact our VBS Leader, Rachel Harris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
