Science has shown that a healthier lifestyle can ward off many common illnesses. The Seventh-day Adventist Church has long supported a healthy lifestyle, and in recognition of the Bible passage that identifies our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, our Health Ministries at Atlanta North believes that maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help a person reach their full potential in all aspects of life: mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We help our community live life to the fullest with God’s plan for full life. We offer several programs like: CHIP, Creation Health and Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program. If you would like more information, please contact our Health Ministries leader, Jared Thurmon, at thurmonJ@gc.adventist.org.
Here at Atlanta North Church we are a family. When some of us are sick, not doing well spiritually, or are just in need of some encouragement you can count on the Visitation Team to offer a visit. If you would like to receive a Pastoral or Elder visit you may contact our Visitation Leader, Woody Brady at 404.580.7596.
Our church has an ongoing relationship with the Northeast Atlanta Health and Rehabilitation Center. If you would like to join us for singing and sharing the gospel you are welcomed to meet us every fourth Saturday at 2:30pm. Our group meets at our ANC Fellowship Hall to head out to the center at 1500 S Johnson Ferry Road, NE, Atlanta, GA.
