Did you know that in Sandy Springs, more than 50 percent of public school students qualify for the federal lunch program, and in Dunwoody almost 20 percent qualify, meaning those kids can eat at school twice a day for free?  Did you know that one lunch bag provides a child with lunch for a whole week?  You can be the person who feeds a child for a week.  We can tangibly be the hands of Jesus reaching those who otherwise might not have food on their table.
ANYA in conjunction with Atlanta North Church are partnering together to provide these lunches for the Community Assistance Center (CAC) in Dunwoody to give out to children in our community.  Below is the list of items needed and the quantity needed in each bag.
1-Brown Bag
1-Red beans and rice
1-Chili Bowl
1-Chicken noddle soup
1- Jar Peanut Butter
1- Jar of Jelly
1- Mac & Cheese box
5- Milk boxes
5-Raisin Bran Bowls
5-Fruit Cups
5-Juice Box
Please seriously consider packing a lunch bag on your next trip to the grocery store.  It won’t take long, is relatively inexpensive but will make a world of difference to one child.  If you have questions or are willing to help with the drive at church please contact Melissa (
